Governor Tim Kaine’s office called the Roanoke College President’s office today to invite the campus community to an event at Mill Mountain Star on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 22. The Governor will be in Roanoke to make a land conservation announcement and wanted to invite people from Roanoke College to attend. This occurs on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 2:30 p.m. at the top of Mill Mountain (which is at 210 Reserve Avenue in Roanoke.)
If you go, please note parking is limited at the top of the mountain. Additional parking will be available at the Armory Building parking lot on Reserve Ave, between Jefferson and Franklins Streets. Shuttles will begin at 1:30pm.
